Tim Boyd - Owner and Executive Chef
Growing up in Northridge California, at 16 years old Tim applied for a job as bus boy at a local restaurant. Within weeks of working in the kitchen, the chef saw something special in him. Tim had a creative eye for food that wasn't expected from someone so young. Impressed with his natural abilities in food creation, Tim's boss encouraged him to attend culinary school while continuing to teach and train the young talent. Tim took the advice and attended California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. He has worked under top chefs such as Jean Francios at L'Orangerie in Los Angeles and Jeremiah Towers & Mark Franz at Stars in San Francisco. After moving to South Florida and meeting his wife Lara, Tim's resume has gone from Executive chef to owner.... including well known Plantation lunch hot spot Upper Crust. Moving on to bigger and better things, Milk & Honey Cafe is only the beginning.
